Sources Of Waste And Effects of Waste :

 The Sources of waste materials are agriculture, mining, industrial, municipal wastes.

Examples for wastes products :

It includes glass, papers, garbage, plastics, soft drink canes, metals, food wastes, automobile wastes, dead animals, construction and factory wastes.



E-Waste ( Electronic and Electrical Waste) :

Electronic equipment like computers, printers, mobile phones, photocopy machines, calculators, etc., 

After using these instruments, they are thrown as waste. 

Effects of  Wastes :

1. The waste released from chemical industries and from explosives are dangerous to human life.

2. The dumped wastes degrade soil and make unfit for irrigation 

3. E-waste contains more than 1000 chemicals, which are toxic and cause environmental pollution. In computers, lead is present in monitors, cadmium in chips and cathode ray tube, PVC in cables. All these cause cancer and other respiratory problems if inhaled for long periods. 

4. Plastics are difficult to recycle or incinerate safely because they are non-biodegradable and their combustion produces several toxic gases.

CONSTRUCTION OF SIMPLE CARBURETOR :  The main Components of Simple Carburetor are : Float Chamber, float, nozzle, venturi, throttle valve, inlet valve, and metering jet . In the float chamber, a constant level of petrol is maintained by the float and a needle valve.  The float chamber is ventilated to atmosphere.  This is used to maintain atmospheric pressure inside the chamber. The float which is normally a metallic hollow cylinder rises and closes the inlet valve as the fuel level in the float chamber increases to certain level. The mixing chamber contains venturi, nozzle and throttle valve. The venturi tube is fitted with the inlet  manifold. This tube has a narrow opening called venturi.
